About the YogaShak School of Yoga
The YogaShak School of Yoga offers yoga teacher training programs and workshops that are led by co-owners of YogaShak; Patti Ragone (E-RYT® 500, YACEP®) and Kelly Armstrong (E-RYT® 500, YACEP®, C-IAYT Certified Yoga Therapist).
Whether you are interested in deepening your practice, you feel the call to teach or you are looking for Yoga Alliance approved continuing education credits, the YogaShak School of Yoga is committed to the personal success of each participant.
We encourage our teacher training students to engage in “svadhyaya”— the Sanskrit term for self-inquiry. You will acquire the confidence to communicate the practice of yoga to others with the highest level of skill while honoring your own unique voice and style.
The YogaShak programs will broaden your perspective of yoga –culminating in an experience that is transformational on every level: physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual.
Meet the YogaShak School of Yoga Teacher Trainers
Patti Ragone (E-RYT® 500, YACEP®)
Patti has been practicing yoga for 25 years, teaching yoga for more than 20 years and educating Yoga Teachers for over 12 years. She has a love of learning and continually studies all things yoga. Patti encourages students to feel and experience their practice; embracing laughter, acceptance and gratitude in a relaxed atmosphere. She has had the honor of studying with many great yoga teachers, including: Sri Dharma Mittra, Rolf Gates, Johnny Kest, Leanne Carey, Baron Baptiste, David Swenson and Kino MacGregor (to name a few).
Kelly Armstrong (E-RYT® 500, YACEP®, C-IAYT Certified Yoga Therapist)
Kelly has been practicing yoga for 21 years, teaching yoga for more than 20 years and educating Yoga Teachers for over 10 years. A dedicated student of yoga, Kelly has had the honor of studying with amazing teachers like Paul Grilley, Kellie Adkins, Bryan Kest, Suze Curtis and Desiree Rumbaugh (to name a few). She is a Certified Yoga Therapist recognized by the International Association of Yoga Therapists who specializes in Athletic Performance and Rehabilitation, and Autoimmune Deficiency Diseases. In addition to her love of Vinyasa Yoga, Kelly has a deep passion for Yin Yoga and encourages mindful exploration into all aspects of the practice with gratitude and compassion.
