Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) Program Application

Physical Health

Applications for yoga teacher training programs are individually reviewed. A non-refundable application fee/deposit of $250.00 must be submitted with your application.

Notice of Cancellation

The program requires that any notice of cancellation or withdrawal by a student must be provided in writing via email sent to yogashakva@gmail.com. An applicant who is denied admission into the program is entitled to a full refund of all money paid by said applicant. The program reserves the right to cancel any training before it begins. In that case, any payments applicants/students have made will be refunded in full.

Three (3) Day Cancellation

An applicant who submits written notice of cancellation within three (3) business days after submitting the $250 deposit and any portion of the remaining program fees is entitled to a refund of all money paid. The refund will be paid within thirty (30) days of receiving the notice of cancellation.

Cancellations After Three (3) Days but Before Program Start Date

An applicant who submits written notice of cancellation of the program more than three (3) business days after submitting the $250 deposit and any portion of the remaining program fees, but before the program begins is entitled to a refund of money paid less the $250 deposit.

Refunds After the Program Start Date

There will be no refunds after the start date of the program. If the student withdraws from the program for any reason after it starts, the student will surrender any and ALL training materials provided by the YogaShak School of Yoga. If the student is on a payment plan, then the student will be responsible for paying any outstanding tuition as calculated by the percentage of the training completed as outlined below.

For a student withdrawing from the training after the program begins, but within the first 25% of the course, the tuition owed by the student will be $687.50 (includes the $250 non-refundable deposit).

For a student withdrawing from the training after completing over 25% but less than 50% of the program, the tuition owed by the student will be $1,375 (includes the $250 non-refundable deposit).

A student completing more than 50% of the training will be responsible for the full tuition cost of $2,750.

Special Cases

In case a student needs to withdraw from the program due to illness, accident, death in the family, or other circumstances that make it impractical for the student to complete the course, the program will provide a reasonable and fair refund.

Bad Conduct

No refunds will be given if the program removes a student from the program for bad conduct. Bad conduct is a violation of the Code of Conduct, harassment, bullying, or any other behavior that is inappropriate or disruptive to the welfare of the program or to fellow students.

YogaShak School of Yoga reserves the right to amend this policy at any time.
